Information About The Institute

The Institute of Combined Studies, Faculty of Mining and Geology, VŠB TU Ostrava, is the oldest undergraduate location in Most, for its establishment stretch back to 1960. Its activities are focused on providing highly specialized education in the scope of combined (distance) learning within modern and perspective fields of studies closely related to current needs of the North Bohemian Region. Within bachelor´s and consequential (long-term) programs, we teach “Mining mineral resources and their utilization”, “Disposing and liquidating wastes” as well as the “Economy and management in the sector of raw materials”. The long-term study also offers the specialization called “Technology and management of water resources”.
